EXIDE

We are currently completing development for a battery training course for Exide Technologies. This online package will instruct Exide employees the basics of batteries; handling, installation, technologies, installing, testing, charging and costing. As there are many different types of batteries and many different areas to cover, this is an involved course, but we are confident it will be an engaging and informative one.

DSE (Department of Sustainability and Environment)

We have been involved in three projects with the Department of Sustainability and Environment. The first is a social media course, which was created to bring employees up to date with the DSE’s social media policies and procedures, as they relate to facebook, youtube and twitter. We enjoyed creating mock social media templates which allowed the users to experiment with leaving their own comments and feedback inside.

The second is the GOFM course – Governance of Finance Management. This course was created in response to trainees being unhappy with undergoing face-to-face financial training. By turning it into an eLearning course, the DSE streamlined their processes. The courses itself outlines the allocation of finances. We turned it into a dynamic, vibrant looking course by using plenty of interactivity, and a 3D animated avatar, Gough.

The third project, currently ongoing, is a Capability Framework eLearning course, in which employees can complete a self assessment to check that they are meeting all their job requirements.

Origin Energy - Branding and Emergency Management

We are currently working with Origin Energy in developing two eLearning courses: Branding and Emergency Management. Working on these two projects is exciting for us, as we get to make a well-designed, fully interactive course loaded with content for the users to enjoy.

Greenskills

The Greenskills project is an agreement between the Australian state and territory governments, the Vocational Education and Training sector and employer and employee representatives to ensure that the VET sector will deliver training that will enable individuals, businesses and communities to adapt and prosper in a sustainable economy.

Working with the Box Hill Institute, Aspin eLearning is currently finalising three integral eLearning courses: Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), Fire Sprinklers and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). We are proud of these courses, as they represent the pinnacle of what we can achieve: engaging eContent underpinned with 3D and 2D animations and interactive diagrams.

Royal District Nursing Service

We are pleased to continue working with the Royal District Nursing Service in creating two engaging and accessible eLearning packages: Greek Diabetes and the Leg Ulcer Prevention Program (LUPP).

For the Greek Diabetes project we have created an engaging interactive talking flipbook, allowing users to virtually ‘flip’ through a catalogue with photographic case studies and spoken audio translations for all visual content.

AEGIS – APN

Think OH&S issues are something that only happens to other employers? Wrong. APN needed an engaging course that showed users something as innocuous as an employee with poor posture could snowball into a WorkCover claim. By showing with this as a 3D case study, users could understand the processes an organisation must go through to ensure it meets all its OH&S requirements.
