Client Brief:
In partnership with the Baking Association of Australia this project was funded by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. The purpose of the project is to embed eLearning as an accepted and well utilised form of training within the Baking industry.
Challenges:
Implementing a relatively new form of training into a traditionally "hands on" and trade based industry. Technology being available to all participants particularly those in rural areas.
Outcomes:
Food Safety training has been implemented in several businesses. Participants have found the courses to be extremely informative and easy to use. The project will run for up to three years with the first year already producing some pleasing results.
Future:
More qualifications to be available online. Online Business Improvement course which has been rolled out in late 2010 and has generated a great deal of interest.
